A hybrid of white and red mulberry (Morus alba x Morus rubra). Produces sweet, black fruit similar in flavor to Illinois Everbearing but larger, about 1½ inches long, ripening over roughly two months in early summer. An upright, fast growing tree that handles Southern heat and humidity better than most mulberries and is more resistant to fungal disease in the Southeast than Illinois Everbearing. Rated for zones 5 to 9.
